Wee LaF for the August 14 Weekend - LaF 69

Summer might be ending, but LaF never stops. Episode 69 sees the L-Train and Mr. Two-Frames previewing two new films hitting theaters on August 14. Straight Outta Compton is a biopic from director F. Gary Gray which traces rap group NWA rise to fame. Set in California during the mid-1980s, the film explores how Ice Cube and Dr. Dre revolutionized Hip Hop. Also in wide release, The Man from U.N.C.L.E. starring Henry Cavill, Armie Hammer, and Alicia Vikander is a re-imagining of the 1960s spy tv show of the same name. Cavill and Hammer star as CIA and KGB operatives respectively, who must work together to prevent the sale of nuclear weapons and the end of the world.
