These films star Mel Gibson at the titular character in George Miller's Australian apocalyptic masterpieces.  Before they head off this weekend to watch Mad Max: Fury Road, the L-Train and Mr. Two-Frames had to go and rewatch the films. Beware this episode contains major spoilers for Mad Max, Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior, and  Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome. 


Wee LaF for the May 15 Weekend - LaF 43

The Summer movie season is fully upon us this weekend. In episode 43, the L-Train and Mr. Two-Frames preview two huge releases for the May 15th weekend. First up is Mad Max: Fury Road starring Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron. For thirty years, fans have been waiting for the fourth Mad Max film from director George Miller and the guys from LaF could not be more excited. Pitch Perfect 2 is the second film opening in wide release this weekend.  Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson reprise their roles from the 2012 sleeper hit Pitch Perfect. This counter-programming is going to make the Box Office Challenge interesting as both hosts have a film opening this weekend. If you plan to stay at home, the guys have Redbox and Amazon Prime picks for you. Starting this week, the L-Train will also give a net pick for Netflicks.
